In history most of what we read about involves the men with
the story of the women going largely unsung- so, I portrayed
this strong, brave, pioneer woman looking you right in the eye
with a crown of wilderness trees floating above her head. “Yeah.”
she says “I was there & could tell you a few stories,
for sure!”
